Death and Dying. Everything You Need to Know But Don't Know Who to Ask.

The Three Books "Death Everyone is doing it. Everything You Need to Know but Don't Know Who to Ask" and "Death When Someone Dies. What to do. How to do it" and "Death. When a Loved One Passes. What to do. How to do it" are just different titles for the same book. Counselors seem to like one title better while the general public seems to like another.

Death. Now What?

Whether you are dealing with a loved one's passing or pre-planning so as not to be a burden to those you leave behind we welcome you. It is our sincerest desire that this website helps make your life easier.

What if someone has passed away? What do we do? How do we do it?

Everything happens so fast.
You only have a few weeks when someone dies to get everything moving forward.

In the Book we include a timeline of events. Pre-plan. Or How to handle someone's passing NOW.

We all know things need to be done but what should be done first?
(notify people, secure assets. Look for health care directives. Are they an organ donor?
Does someone have power of attorney? etc.)
and what can be done next week
(locate bills, return medical equipment for deposit, call all Life Insurance companies etc.)

In the Book we include: Asset check list guide.
You may be surprised to find many assets that will cover the cost of closing the estate.
You will find information on Attorneys - Banks - Safe Deposit Boxs: how to locate and gain access.
Scams: be Careful - Beneficiary - Burial - Cremation - Cemetery - Burial at Sea

Debt: Who pays the bills?

The Estate and the Executor. Closing the Estate
Funeral Goods and Services: What is necessary and How much will it cost?
Funeral Rule: Your Federal Protection - Hospice - Identity Theft - Insurance - Living Will

Medicaid: Does the estate owe Medicaid money? - Mortgage - Reverse Mortgage - Homes "underwater"
Is their someone living in the deceased's home? Now what?
Prepay for a Funeral? - Preplan for a Funeral? - Probate - Social Security Benefits

Order your Book Now – We tell you everything you need to know before you go.

Transportation of the Deceased: Interstate and outside of the U.S.

Veterans - FREE Funerals Are there Free Funerals?

Free Funeral for Veterans. There may be free burial for veterans but the estate is most often responsible for transportation and other costs.

We include asset checklists. You may find assets that are often overlooked. It is not the insurance company's responsibility to keep track of deaths and pay out benefits. It is the responsibility of the estate of the deceased to notify the insurance company and Claim the benefits owed.

Remarriage: Many people are not getting remarried after a divorce.

If they are cohabiting (living with someone) have a Will (or no Will) and have made a son or daughter from a previous marriage the financial Power of Attorney and Executor it can be very expensive and difficult to settle differences between the two households. Is the surviving spouse properly taken care of? Why not?

If someone dies without a valid Will, Children from a previous marriage may inherit everything.

If a married spouse dies without a valid Will, the married spouse does not inherit everything if there are children from a previous marriage. The law varies from state to state.

More than half of all Americans die without leaving a Will or even a notebook of where the assets are. Or, just as and maybe more important, what assets they do not have. If the deceased does not leave a note that they did not have any safe deposit boxes the Executor of their estate will most likely search for a safe deposit box at local banks.

You want people to help tidy up after you leave. Why make it more difficult for them?

DIGITAL ASSETS - Today we must search for and locate digital assets. Online accounts, bank accounts, brokerages, insurance, stocks, gold, bitcoin, etc. etc. We show you what to look for and where to look.
Do Not give the deceased's cell phone or computers away until they have been properly searched and then cleaned of data!

We include a Glossary of Terms and Definitions.

We include check lists to jog your memory, help organize your duties and make some notes in the margins.

Most people cannot cope with someone's passing and handle everything that must be done quickly and locate and secure all assets and locate all necessary paperwork and return hospital equipment and write the Eulogy and write the epitaph and write the obituary and purchase funeral services and watch out for the thieves and scam artists that seem to come out of the woodwork.

This Book is here to help you.

Order Your Book Now – More than half of all adults in the U.S. die without leaving a Will or instructions for those left behind. Are you going to be a burden on those who come behind you to Tidy Up? You need to take the first step NOW. Small steps – one at a time.

Some are enforceable as contracts and payable at death. Yup.

Not every estate will owe all of these taxes. Will you? Will your loved ones?

Bills need to be located and paid.
